Mr. Abdellah Srour gave a seminar: "Role of the GFCM on the Regional Fisheries Management"
The executive secretary of the GFCM (General Fisheries Commission of the Mediterranean) Mr. Abdellah SROUR and legal and institutional officer Nicola FERRI conducted seminars on 22.09.2014 at the Istanbul University Fisheries Faculty in the framework of Marine Biology Department Seminar Series about the role of the GFCM on the regional fisheries management. Latest studies on the sustainable fisheries management in the Mediterranean was discussed during the seminar and reinforced cooperation between GFCM and the faculty was underlined. Besides, the issues of Marine Protected Areas in the Mediterranean and the conservation of marine species were addressed after the seminar.
